Reconciling with your statement
Over time, a missed transaction or a typo can leave the balance in Sprigly a little off from what your bank actually shows. Reconciling is how you check the two against each other and bring them back in line.
Sprigly never connects to your bank — there’s no login, no link, no syncing. You stay in control by reading the balance off your own statement and typing it in.
Reconcile an account
Open the account you want to check and enter the balance shown on your latest statement. Sprigly compares that figure to the balance it calculated from the transactions you’ve recorded.
When they don’t match
If the two differ, Sprigly shows the gap and offers to make a small adjustment for you — a single transaction that nudges the account to match your statement exactly. That saves you hunting for the one charge you forgot to log. If you’d rather find it yourself, you can.
A record you can revisit
Each time you reconcile, Sprigly keeps a note of it — the statement balance, what it had calculated, and any adjustment made. Reconciling now and then keeps your envelopes resting on numbers you can trust.
