Settings & your data
Sprigly keeps your budget on your device, and only your device — your transactions, envelopes, and accounts never leave it. (Signing in and your subscription use a little account data; see the Privacy Policy.) Looking after your budget is something you can do yourself, right from Settings.
Choose your currency
Pick the currency Sprigly shows your money in. You can choose from US dollars, euros, British pounds, Japanese yen, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars, and Swiss francs.
Back up your budget
Because your data lives on your device, it’s worth keeping a backup.
- Export writes your whole budget — accounts, envelopes, transactions, goals, and your settings — to a single file you can save somewhere safe.
- Import loads a backup file back in. Importing replaces everything currently in the app, so use it to restore a backup or move your budget to a new device — not to merge two.
The backup file works the same everywhere Sprigly runs, so it’s an easy way to carry your budget from one device to another.
Erase everything
If you ever want a clean slate, the danger zone lets you wipe all your data in one step. It clears everything for good, so Sprigly asks you to confirm first. There’s no undo — make a backup before you do this if there’s anything you’d want to keep.
